[GIS+] Teamwork Event ''Infantry Only''

Following the success of the ''Asian Invasion'' Event we will start another event on our high performance server located in Germany. You are invited to grab a brand-new pair of combat boots sponsored by the GIS+ armory and taste the dirt on four different terrain types while serving in the spine of any battle formation: The Infantry!

According to the current planning, this event is not going to feature Mumble. Therefore, you are positively encouraged to join us on our TS3 server for the sake of teamplay and the performance of your party.

We will again have a lot of people from various clans and communities on both sides ensuring a coordinated game. You should have no trouble joining a squad and of course you are free to lead your own one.



Reflecting on the previous events and the tremendous amount of valuable feedback you provided us with, this event's policy will be extended by some additions in order to augment our guests' experience:

1. Password protected server
2. Joining on TS/Mumble is indispensable
3. Experienced GIS commanders for both parties if otherwise positions would remain vacant
4. One GIS squad on each side and continuous efforts in balancing the GIS manpower

yes, i think we will not pw the server because of the gamespy "there was an error reading from the server" thing.

Alrighty ill give this event a shot, only thing is I might lag since im from the US. And im sad that I have to leave my clans TS3 for yous "Oh No"!

you dont have to quit your ts since ts3 you got the ability to be on both servers

Oh but if you have ever heard my clan server its noisy as heck. One person is always playing movies through his mic since he has one of those mics that sit on the desk. Ill just join your TS3 channel tongiht.
And maybe to make it easier can you give me the PR Time for the event? Just want to make sure im going at the right time.

Okay, although I was in your server before the event started and it was on Kashan Desert and I kept getting Team Killed by people in our main base in trhe US team. Like some kid ran a Logi Truck straight into me while I was in a AA Humvee, killing us both. Then that same person come up to me as im sitting in the AA gun and unloads on me killing me and like 2 other people. But other then that it was fine.

The first round on silent eagle was really nice!
