Tactical Combat Community presents a night of nostalgia

On Saturday 10th July, Tactical Combat Community will be hosting a night of Project Reality 0.5, starting at 1800 GMT.

This is your chance to relive old memories of Al Basrah with USMC or play the first Muttrah City or fight in the jungles of Mao Valley and Ghost Train.

Join in at any time and play with fellow teamwork minded players.

There will be a password for this event which will be given out, along with game server details, on our Teamspeak 3 server 30 mins before the event is due to start. We will have several admin's ready to deal with anyone misbehaving. Also anyone is welcome to play with us on any day before hand to get used to it. If you wish to do so just hop on our TS3 server.

Our map list for the evening is to be as follows, though it may be subject to change depending on the server's population:

Airport 64
Operation Ghost Train 32

We plan to hold these events regulary.


In order to get PR 0.5 to work without affecting your current pr install you must follow these instructions:

Note: If anyone has a problem with installation or is unsure of what to do AFTER you have read through this then you are most welcome to come on to our Teamspeak 3 server or contact us on xfire and we will assist you.

1. Rename your "pr" folder to "pr09" (located in "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods")

2. Install PR 0.5, the links for which are below. After installation you must then rename the folder called "pr" to "pr05" and then rename "pr09" back to "pr".

3. Finally make a copy of your project reality 0.9 shortcut, right click on the copy and go to properties and then replace what is in the target box with this:******** INCLUDE THE SPEECH MARKS FOR THIS******
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/pr05 +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

and what is in the startup box with this: *** INCLUDE THE SPEECH MARKS FOR THIS***
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2"

What the start menu?

When you right click on the shortcut and go to properties that is what needs to be in the startup box of the properties including the speech marks. Sorry I missed the right click properties bit out.
