Name says it all really, used to be able to run PR on all medium-high but and i had a really solid framerate of anything between 30 at the very very lowest to 60 at the highest on all maps but now I'm getting 10 at even medium distance but maintaining the 60 or so at close range sometimes. Plus the new patch seems to be using alot more of my CPUs seems to be conistantly at about 60% of one and almost 70% of the other alot of the time now.
*EDIT* This is on XP by the way and I've tried the patched BF2.exe but it doesn't seem to have made any difference, it doesn't seem to be using much more then 1.5 gig at any time anyway, so it's still got a good 1.5gig more of headroom there. I forgot to mention that my graphics card is a horrible old Radeon X850, but this ran fine with the last patch, mostly due to my pretty decent new motherboard with the CPU (Core Duo E6550 2.33 Ghz) and 4gigs of Corsair RAM. |

Right, re-installed all BF2 stuff and this seems to be a problem with statics, played a bit of training mode and kashan ran 60 fps no problem, but barracuda and korengal are still really awful...
