Unable to start PR now

When I try to load PR, the splash comes up, then the whole screen goes black, as if its getting ready to start, then it flashes back to desktop.....

Any ideas? I tried all of the .exe path changes but no luck

One possible fix is
Check your video file.
Path:
C:\Users\your user name here\Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0002\video

Should look like this:
VideoSettings.setTerrainQuality 3
VideoSettings.setGeometryQuality 3
VideoSettings.setLightingQuality 2
VideoSettings.setDynamicLightingQuality 3
VideoSettings.setDynamicShadowsQuality 3
VideoSettings.setEffectsQuality 3
VideoSettings.setTextureQuality 2
VideoSettings.setTextureFilteringQuality 3
VideoSettings.setResolution 1024x768@60Hz
VideoSettings.setAntialiasing 2Samples
VideoSettings.setViewDistanceScale 1
VideoSettings.setVideoOptionScheme 3

If you have a LCD then it (refresh rate) should be no higher than 60Hz
