Default SP3: Crash to desktop on map load Destination Projectile not existing on client

Hello,

I have been playing PR for the past week with out issue. I attempted to play this morning and the game crashes on map load. I started it in shell mode and I receive the following error:

BF2 Error

Debug assertion failed!

Version: 1.1.2965-797.0 Build Date:2006-9-26 17:53
Module:GameEvents
File: D:\Aphordite\BF2_1.4\Code\BF2\Game\GameEvents\Miss ileInitEvent.cpp
Line: 107

Text: Destination projectile not existing on client!

Current Confile:

Cancel Try Again Continue

I run XP SP3
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU
Q6600 @ 2.40GHZ
2.40GHz, 2.0 GB of RAM

The game ran fine for a week and now is crashing. I have not installed anything.
My automatic updates show taht Internet Explorer 8 for Windows XP failed on June 18th. Prior to that my most recent update was June 10th.
