LAGG WITH 21 PING

hey every time im playing it lags!! i does only have 21 ping so i cant understand why it is lagging? can someone help me?

I have to set up a normal household heater/fan next to my router and have it blast cold air onto it to keep it cool. Otherwise I get lag even with good pings. It works pretty quickly from the moment I turn the fan on. Might be worth a try? Otherwise it could be something to do with your service provider?

wat are ur system specs? lag/stuttering can also be due to not enuff system RAM or video RAM or even just a bottle neck like a slow CPU or GPU.

well my ram is 2.5 gb so i dont think thats the problem. i can run Flight simulator X on ultra high with no lagg, and online with no lagg. and i got an ASUS P5Q motherboard and that 9600 Nvidia or whatever it is

What's your OS?
2,5GB might be not enough for High Textures and High Geometry, exspecially if you have Vista (which needs a lot of RAM, around 600MB, plus other programs you are running, like XFire or something).
Try running Medium Textures and check out, whether you still have "lags".

i have XP and i have runned it on,low medium and now running it on high but no difference

it says "thers a problem with your connection" when it lags but my connection is perfect

Sounds like a performance problem, in BF2 when you get bad fps drops you will sometimes get Connection interruption issues along with it. What kind of CPU do you have?

BTW try with EVERYTHING on low and see if that helps any.

Create a local server on a map you usually lag on and see if you have any issues there. That way you can determine whether it is your connection or your hardware.

what is your fps?
1.open console command (default: END key)
2. type: renderer.drawfps 1

for me, i get around 40-70 (sometimes low like 20 if i look through heavy mosh like trees, etc)

if you are getting bad fps then congif your settings, update your graphics card, etc
