Angry 'Verifying Client Data'

Often all the time, Project Reality will load up the map, byt then get stuck on 'Verifying Client Data'. This is really frustrating as my PC locks up and I have to restart. Does anyone else have this problem and how can I stop it?
I have tried reinstalling everything, including bf2. I want to try and fix this without reformatting.

I know you say you have reinstalled it, but have you tried deleting your bf2 folder in My Documents?

Also what are your specs?

He means delete the BF2 folder in My documents, uninstalling the game doesn't remove the folder, so try removing it manually and than start up the game so it can renew the caches.

Yeah that's what I meant by 'it' Sorry i wasn't clearer. But that's what I did first time. Completely removed it and all its files. Then when PR was still acting up i tried uninstalling. Now it's still acting up, I've turned to the PR community.

I have the same problem.

I also deleted that folder in "My Documents"... still not working.

Except, this time Esc works so I can cancel the loading process when it gets to "Verifying Client Data".

Should I have waited longer to see if it will work?

EDIT: Mine works... just takes a few minutes to verify client data...

EDIT(2): Finally working in normal(fast) speed after re-applying 1.41 full patch.
