Default CD-KEY Problem not fixed by Troubleshooting guide

The title pretty much explains it (though not all). I Followed the troubleshooting guide for invalid CD-Key and I got to step 6 where I found out I had no numbers where the x9392 should be. I read some other people had the same problems and I wondered if there was a fix for it.

The guide.

i had the same problem ages ago what i did to fix it was go to goolge and type in bfkeychanger then download it and type in your cd key into the software and it will update your cd key, the reason for doing this is because maybe you previousley installed bf2 using another cd key? and sometimes when you uninstall it the cd key will remain if you do not do a cd key clean, so try it and see if this works
