Alt tabbing with 2gig RAM

alt tabbing with 2 gig ram normally gets me kicked by PB.

any way of reducing chances of this (without buying another 2gig ram)? maybe by lowering a certain setting ?

specs:

Q6000@ 3.2
2gig (ofc)
8800gt

xp32bit

Don't think that ever happened to me in the past when I had 2gigs, what does the kick message say?
If its something that PB is not communicating fast enough could try to give it a higher priority in the task manager.

PB heartbeat

like raic said, i figure whistle the game is loading back in PB cant communicate or run properly thus i get pwned.

good point

since you have a multi core cpu - assign different cores to the game and pb (task manager -> right click -> affinity)

I got 4gigs (3 with 32bit OS) and I get heartbeat kick too, but only if I alt-tab out while the map is loading.

I have 2gb of ram and I can Alt tab fine so I don't think that is your problem.

How many processes do you normally have running?

I have 2GB and I can alt-tab in and out of the game without any problems.
