Default Cool & Quiet (Phenom II) issue

Anybody using WinXP 32bit, a phenom cpu (or any other CnQ-compatible for that matter) here?
I noticed horrible fps after enabling CnQ, tried reinstalling GPU drivers, chipset drivers, the works. I noticed my 4890-card never increased the fan speed ingame as it should, and concluded the low fps was CPU related. After some checking i tried changing power scheme in xp (thereby disabling CnQ), and fps ingame jumped from 30-70 to a stable 90-100!

In Vista64 CnQ worked with stable fps, and the only game that seems to have this problem is BF2 with mods.

CPU: X3 720be AM3
AMD 4890

use AMD's overdrive (aod) and hit the button in the right corner till it's red,for xp you
need the powermonitor and C&C drivers from AMD (probably comes with Vista already - so it "works" right away)

also use the
`
renderer.lockfps 0

command in the game if you want the triple digits FPS

I don't know if it will turn 50fps into 500,but if you have 99/10 that's the bf2 fps lock
and that command is supposed to "unlock it'
