Default help me build my gaming rig

ok guys i posted another thread on were to buy the product now ive sourced somewhere the thread has changed to something else than what it says on the title so i made this thread, so my budget for components ie cpu, gpu etc is about £300-400max might push to 500 if really needed but not really liking to so far i have come up with a list of components what do you guys think, any compatability issues? are probs etc please only constructive critiscm as this is my first attemp at gaming pc

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 896MB DDR3 PCI-E(S020082)
intending to sli it but next pay check but for mo just single it

Western Digital 160GB hard disk drive Caviar SATA II 300 7200rpm 8Mb (JS) oem(HAR160WESSA272)
not so big as i dont require alot of space

AMD CPU AM2 9650 X4 Phenom 64 Quad Core Retail Box inc FanSocket AM2+ (3yr Manufacturers Warranty)(S023286)

Gigabyte motherboard GA-MA790X-DS4 AM2 Phenom AMD 790X DDR2 ATX(MOTGIGMA790XDS4)
not sure about this 1 but sockets are the same for cpu and price was decent not ott

Kingston memory 4GB Kit (2x2GB) HyperX 800MHz DDR2 CL5 (5-5-5-15) DIMM (Kit of 2) RAM(MEMKINHX4GB800)

any comments or suggestions guys as i want to build it properly and not rush into it as i am kinda doing lol this is my first gaming build so kinda excited but come on who can blame me lol

ps the total has so far reached £395.57 thats if i decide to go for this lot, i still have the case to buy etc but dont really need help on that as i want the nvidia cooler master case but still need monitor hopefully a 19" hd one

You dont need a sound card. A good 450w psu will beat a crappy 600w psu any day, Case comes with case fan, Dont need a monitor because he's obviously got one if hes typing on his computer...Notice his first post?

Also You can't do sli with that board seeing as its the 790X which is crossfire compatible (ATi Equivalent to SLi)

thanks for replying guys so after your comments and much deliberation i have maybe finally found the setup i want and hopefully are compatible to each other

Coolermaster case CM-690 black tower ATX nVidia SLi approved NO PSU(CASCOORC690)
always wanted this case and would go great with sli config

Akasa AK-967 Fan Intel / AMD For LGA 775, LGA 1366 / AMD Socket 939, AM2, AM2+ Core i7 / Phenom X4(S021824)
the only one i found which is compatible with my cpu and in my price range

AMD CPU AM2 9650 X4 Phenom 64 Quad Core Retail Box inc FanSocket AM2+ (3yr Manufacturers Warranty)(S023286)
was going to go for a penomx3 but did not find mobo that supported both phenom3 and nvidia sli so opted for this but im happy with it.

Western Digital 160GB hard disk drive Caviar SATA II 300 7200rpm 8Mb (JS) oem(HAR160WESSA272)
dont require alot of space as i dont plan to save alot of files on the pc just mainly for gaming, and fitted in my price range

Kingston memory 4GB Kit (2x2GB) HyperX 800MHz DDR2 CL5 (5-5-5-15) DIMM (Kit of 2) RAM(MEMKINHX4GB800)
good ram i think.

so any issues so far you think please help guys i dont want to mess anything up.

ps i only need help on this part of the build i already have psu and monitor lol

heres the remaining stuff as i could only upload 5 pics max on each thread so here i go:-

Asus motherboard M3N72-D(S02194
a good priced mobo which also is compatible with my other products i beleive but maybe you all will know better than me?

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 896MB DDR3 PCI-E(S020082)
for the moment want to run in sinlge gpu as i cant afford the second one just yet maybe next pay check but ultimatley want to sli it

so any comments or suggestions guys will be helpful.

ps i am buying all these items from micro direct website as they are quite good and i can source all products from their at reasonable price. so if you look for alternatives etc please use that site and rememebr guys im on budget and budget doesnt mean 'ok he said 500 pound max so 550 is ok lol' budget people lol

Looks good a link could help, but what company is your psu? A 500w Powering a Quad Core Processor, 160GB hdd, 2 GTX 260's and 4GB of ram is reallly unlikely.

i have a intel quad core ( q6600 ) and it runs beautifully on a 850 watt corsair PSU . PSU's are one component you can future proof
