From what company is that PSU? It's important to have a stable PSU, and I can't find much info about it. Of course you got a budget, which I fully understand, but seeing you want two GTX 260's in SLI, I would recommend to try to find some more info about that PSU.

There is no such thing as a Phenom II 920 Black edition, I think its a typo. There is only a Phenom II 940 Black edition, and a Phenom II 920 (Non Black Edition).

So your getting all this for under £500?

Have you got prices with this also, build looks good but prices will help others if they where looking at buying, and we may be able to offer you cheaper alternatives etc....

Cheap PSU's will cause you no end of trouble, also what about an OS? or are you sorted for that?

Also is that MB SLI compliant, ie has it 2 16x PCIe slots? I'd say if you can find the money get a better PSU, as you will definately fiind that it will fail soon, especially powering 2 260's

well i will look for an alternative psu then as you all are not approving of the one i have chosen, yes the mobo is sli complient 2x pci-e 2.0, that is one of the maing reasons i chose it other than the sweet price lol as for the os im going to stick with xp for the moment and as soon as windows 7 is officolly released will upgrade, im not really happy with vista my brother has it and it is how u say umm a BIG POO lol

Yes... I understand micro direct says its a black edition, but I regret to inform you that it is indeed not: AMD Phenom II 920 Black edition?

It happened that micro direct screwed up pretty badly...

However, unless you plan to overclock there is no benefit in getting a black edition processor.

hmm thats sad lol well i will phone micro direct just before i place the order for them to clarify it and also to get them to change it if it is true, if i opt to go for the 940 black then i will have to change most of my items as the 940 is am3 socket and not am2 like my mobo , if this is all the case then should i just go for the standard 920 phenom II as this is am2 socket?

Get the 940, it is AM2, not AM3.

In addition, AM3 processors do work in AM2 motherboards (Backwards compatibility FTW! :P). However, AM2 CPU's do NOT work in AM3 motherboards.

AM2(+)
-Phenom II 940
-Phenom II 920

AM3
-Phenom II 955
-Phenom II 945
-Phenom II 720

P.S. Go with the 940 IMO, it seems to be cheaper, and it is slightly faster and better for overclocking (I own one).

P.P.S. Everything else seems fine to me .
