corrupt packet flow

I keep getting kicked from matches because of corrupted packet flow. How do I fix this?

if it's corrupt packetflow for punkbuster, you need to update punkbuster.

Update punkbuster, make sure your firewalls is allowing pnkbustr A and B, u have Norton firewall then I can help add me on Xfire xD

reinstall punkbuster. that is the only fix i know of. that is all i could do to fix it.

this is what you need to do

first and easiest.. make sure it is fully updated, it might have glitched

Install pbsetup.exe

pbsetup.exe is a tool you download which automatically updates your punkbuster file. Running this tool fixes 90% of problems players have with punkbuster. Instructions to install below:

1. Go to punkbuster website and download PunkBuster pbsetup.exe.
2. Once downloaded, run PBSETUP.EXE.
3. Click "Add Game" and select the game you wish to update (in our case, BF2).
4. Click "Check for Updates" and the game(s) will be automatically patched.
5. Run BF2/PR. If you still get problems, continue reading this thread.

it that dont work.. try this

1. Download pbsvc
2. Start pbsvc installer, you should see options for install, uninstall, test.
3. Run the Uninstaller
4. Restart your computer.
5. Start pbsvc installer again, this time choose install.
6. After pcsvc installs, click the "test" option to check the punk buster install you just did.
5. Make sure it comes back "all green"
6. Create a pbsvc installer shortcut AND pbsvc program shortcut on your desktop.
7. Run pbsvc the program (shortcut on your desktop) add BF2 to the games list, then hit update.

then just to make sure, run the punkbuster updater agian.. just in case

I had this problem the other day for the first time ever. And about a week ago I saw a guy talk about this problem in-game. He found the cause of it, and believe it or not, it was ventrilo.

As stated, I had the exact same problem the other day and I had ventrilo running in the background. I had it running a round before that and it went well, but when the server loaded a new map I kept getting kicked by pb for corrupt packet flow. Having in mind what the other dude said earlier, I got out to windows, closed ventrilo, got back in to PR, reconnected and tada. It worked as a charm. A few minutes later I got out to windows again, fired up ventrilo and it all worked fine again. Bear in mind that a friend of mine also had this exact problem and shutting down ventrilo was a solution that worked for him too.

It does sound unlikely though, but if you do have ventrilo, teamspeak or something running in the background, try turning it off for a few minutes and see if PR works better for you.

from what i have seean, i think what happens if your packet flow, aka, punkbusters way of seaing if your hacking, get currpted, aka, it gets cut off, and punkbuster can not recive the information.

so basickly, is you run, say, aao and pr, it should have a better chance of that error.

Yup, if ur running FRAPS in the background ur not gonna get much play out of it, sometimes it happens, most times it doesnt.

Yea i had that problem when i reinstalled PR on my new computer, i suggest first of all manually updating Punkbuster and if that doesnt work, turn off fraps PunkBuster Online Countermeasures

run as administrator and make sure no firewalls are blocking PB. The packet "flow" is because packets arent flowing through to the game correctly or enough arent reaching the final destination. This is usually because of a firewall.

Best attempt is trying running as administrator

also attempt a manual update with Punkbuster Setup
