Try going into your system32 folder and searching for the 2 .exe's named PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe
Now run both of those in the credintials(aka, Administrator) that you run BF2/PR in. Then ctrl+alt+del then select Start Task Manager(or right click above the time in your start bar and select Task Manager), click the Services tab and make sure PnkBstrA.exe is running in that list. If PnkBstrB.exe isn't running you will get an error like "PnkBstrB.exe heartbeats have stopped." Those "heartbeats" are little messages your connection sends like every twenty seconds to the PunkBuster server that makes sure you aren't hacking.

Hope this helps and have fun.

I have same problem now. I kept about 3 months pause on playing PR. Now I get kicked from every server. I use PBSetup v3.4 to check PB updates, but it says only:" No new updates needed."

How to fix this problem?

BTW: Few hours ago, I played about 20minutes in UK warfare server. Then I disconnected from the server by myself. When I tried to join to same server again, the server kicked me immediately out. Reason was:" Corrupted Packet Flow."
