Okay,
You start BF2 up and there it is. Staring you in the face. Project reality. Wow. Get it. Its awesome. So i does. And now the thing wont work. Imagine my temper?? Before we start I will say that I don't' just willy nilly jump on and throw my own problems up. I have spent the last 2 nights researching my problems and reading pages of threads and forums but nothing is working for me. I have un installed and re installed the game. I have un installed and re installed punk buster. I have downloaded pbsvc.exe and pbsetup.exe and used both. They both say "good to go". I have manually deleted the lates pb files from my pb folder and then downloaded them manually from the pb homepage. running pbsetup after this says all files up to date. I am going insane. I have disabled ALL Firewalls. They were all set to allow BF2 and PBSTa dn B through anyway but disabled same problem??? The funniest thing is the first night I actually go the game going and played it for about 2 hours. That was the one and only time it has lasted 5 seconds past the loading stage. It worked fine. So WTF is going on? my system can obviously handle it but PB is letting me and by the sounds of it half the planet down. Can someone please save my computer from the impending ass whooping it is gonna get. Any help is very much appreciated Cheers J |

Same situation as you except with corrupted files.
I tried deleting my PB folder in BF2 and tried playing Project Reality to see if it would update automatically, you could try that maybe? I also got it to work last night for about an hour(until I left the server) but as usual I cant play any server for more then a couple minutes before getting kicked. I think we are gonna have to wait for patches or something because there are no fixes that work :/ |

When asking for help,
please remember to post your: O/S, systems specks, network setup And a brief history before and after problem started. Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and what you have already tried. Quote:
Inside a better router should help. Outside improved throughput should help Another thing you can try that works for me is: Try connecting to another server when you get a PB CORRUPT PACKET FLOW error kick. Let the map load 15% to 100% (it's different for some. 15% works for me) then abort the map load. Try to join the server you want to play on now. PB errors are at least reduced if not stopped for the night. All tho this isn't a fix, this work around usually works. Hope it helps | |

I'm also getting this PB kick. I reinstalled Bf2 and packs and Pr correctly and rebooted. Some servers I don't get this message and some others I do. I just reinstalled Pb and updated it and still got it.

I got this kick when I tried to run mumble. Try running without it if you have it up, this may be an issue.
