Punkbuster really SUCKS.. WTF is a curropted memory?

i found the problem, its the teamspeak programm mumble witch causes the problem. but if you deactivate the overlay in the preferences pb stops bitching arround.

I had the same problem without mumble running. Fraps was running though. I´ll try it out without it.

No joy so far, keeps kicking me after about 2 minutes I haven't changed anything on my system since the last time I played

Is it worth reinstalling/updating BF2?

Looks like the latest PB update has issues with Fraps.

Rgr, I've noticed that it PB seems to delete the pbsec.htm from the pb folder when I join a server? Not sure if that's anything to do with it, sounds like pb maybe having issues with their recent update.

We had a match against Heroes on Saturday and a lot of people were lagging/connection problems/md5 checks all the PB staff.
I CTDed on the map load twice,then switched to the second PC and had no problems what so ever - go figure.No mumble or any overlay on either one.

Believe it or not, there was a new hack method using fraps, maybe PB is not adapting to the method, and instead black listing fraps instead of the coding, dont ask why i know about it, i watch them to see if there is ways to prevent people from hacking, or new ways to tell if someone is using a hack.

BTW, if you want to use fraps, without PB kick, just desactivate the Fraps Overlay in Fraps Options (Fraps Overlay = Frame per Second Information in-game)
