hanyways,make sure you install both the core and the map files,then a shortcut should appear on ur desktop.

or else launch BF2,login go to comunitys(or something) and then you can launch PR

like supahpingi said, you need both core AND levels (core first, then install levels) to get a desktop icon.

Cipher - like Gazz says make sure you've downloaded and installed both of those files.

If you still have a problem you might want to visit our Tech Support Forum, where a team of eager [R-TEC]s are on hand to give more constructive help and advice.

When you're asking stuff like "how do i play the game?" it's probably time to check into a retirement home of some kind.

Guys it was just a joke, I think even non avid gamers have heard of those.

It's not like this thread can ever get anywhere without a bit more of a specific explanation of the problem.

If someone asks for help, try helping them, instead of belittling them. Common courtesy and respect - is it that difficult?
