you could always check to see if your bios needs to be updated. i had problems with my asus motherboard when i discovered that it required an update. allthough, could be one of a thousand different problems.

Interesting Note : I tried running the "dell diagnostics boot utility" and it refuses to run any diagnostics telling me that my PC is not recognized as being dell supported. The..hell?

didnt install via the dell reinstall disks?
I had plenty of problems with my dell on a reinstall as well.. all driver related in my case.. had to track down alot of specific drivers as dell would NOT ALLOW certain components to be upgraded as it could have potentially interefered with the dell service center BS system they run on all computers.. for example i couldnt upgrade the drivers on my vid card.. |
