Did you run the TCP/IP analyzer tests?
Please post results and your network setup please. If your ISP won't help you get another ISP. Make them 'earn' your money. |

my MTU is at 1500, which is standard for most broadband connections i think. check if you have settings for it in your router.

TCP options string: 020405820103030001010402
MSS: 1410 MTU: 1450 TCP Window: 37752 (NOT multiple of MSS) RWIN Scaling: 0 bits Unscaled RWIN : 37752 Recommended RWINs: 64860, 129720, 259440, 518880, 1037760 BDP limit (200ms): 1510kbps (189KBytes/s) BDP limit (500ms): 604kbps (76KBytes/s) MTU Discovery: ON TTL: 50 Timestamps: OFF SACKs: ON IP ToS: 00000000 (0) You have room for involvement You can use TCPOptimizer to improve speed. When asking for help, please remember to post your: O/S, systems specks, network setup And a brief history before and after problem started. Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and what you have already tried. So what is your connection? Cable? DSL? POTL? (plain old telephone line) A lot of things can cause high ping so the more info you can provide the better. |
