Default Re: AntiVir Personal detects PB malware?

So you mean basically changing my Anti virus programme to avoid getting a warning?

I could also tell AntiVir to ignore it.

The old files are removed from my PC now and it is clean. The problem also exists with the new files which come with updating PB with PBsetup.

And those updated files shouldnt be malware already ?

So hm... now I can update PB only with going with a new anti virus prog or tell antivir to ignore it?

which ever you feel is safest.

i would personally give AVG a go and see if you get any warnings (i use AVG myself and have had no issue with the software)

hm OK.

does anyone know if AntiVir and AVG can exit in coop?

I mean both installed at the same time?

I have made some bad experiences years ago when I tried to install a second anti virus program but didnt delete the old one.
Pretty bad stuff that was :/

don't never install 2 antivir progs at the same time. chances are that they just keep checking each others' scanner app forever

just try and switch off heuristics in antivir. might help.
