Saitek Evo doesn't open the profiler when I plug it in.

Hey, if any of you recall, I've posted a few times before about my having a Saitek Evo Force as a joystick. It was working great up until very recently. I"m not sure what's happened, but when I plug in my controller, I can hear the sound indicating that I've plugged it in. Normally, a profile selector would appear in the lowerright hand toolbar, but this time it didn't. Additionally, I can't actually use my joystick ingame anymore, as it doesn't translate any of my commands on it into the computer.

I'm currently searching up my problem on google, but I'm not having much luck. Opening up the profiler launcher manually doesn't work either, so I'm quite confused. I was wondering if anyone's ever experienced this problem or has a solution.

My system specs are:

20 inch intel iMac
2.4 gHz Intel Core 2 duo
128 mb video card
Bootcamp running Windows XP 32 bit sp2
2 gigs of ram

Though, I don't think any of these should have an effect on the program not starting, or the joystick not being completely recognized. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers to see if that'll help at all.

Nevermind, reinstalling the software did the trick.

I have this same issue... my saitek software will randomly 'corrupt' itself or something. It just happened two days ago. The way I know is because my profiles suddenly disappear... I have it so that if I push the "shift" [^] button on the side that it allows me to open the Q-comm rose and the fire-button is a mouse click, so I can use the "vehicle on the way" or "bail out" without taking my hand off the joystick.

Reinstalling fixes it... but I find it retarded that the software borks it. This is vista I'm running.

Yea, had it again today, though I didn't need to reinstall, the profile just reappeared when I replugged the USB part in rather then the power cord.
