i dont relly wont to get so far but i need some other opinions. i need a new 5.1 (!!!! not stereo) hs. the mates in my clan got some meanings about 5.1 hs. so whichsoever hs do u use to play in dolby? AND ONLY ON THAT! DONT WANT TO READ HOW GOOD OR BAD STEREOS HS ARE!!! THY

I tried out the Tritton AX360 5.1 but after about 10 uses the mic went all static, same thing happened to a friends AX51's right out of the box. So they went back and I'm looking for something different.

Otherwise:
5.1 was OK - rear speakers were weak and no bass at all.
Comfort was good, covered my whole ear and didn't pinch.
Except for the flimsy microphone cable they are a solid unit and are on the heavy side.

Now for the IMPORTANT part: They come with a Dolby breakout box but it has no pass through for the microphone, so you can't use the mic and in my case couldn't use the mic with a separate cable since my X-FI card uses the same port for either microphone or digital out.

I use a Sony Wireless headset... (not 100% if its 5.1... but i always known the direction of the enemy, it certainly seems like its 5.1)

model TMR-RF850R & MDR-RF820R

Love it.. hate wires!
