dunehunter tell you the truth I dont fly much, All I know is bf2 radar isnt in game. If you guys have a better explanation i will gladly update the wiki as its been left on the side of the road like a used trucker bomb.

Something like this would be more like radar.

Works in the sense that that little dot with the range shows the marker/vehicle. LOS though, so evading radar behind a hill is possible, but this is something else.
