PR v0.8 Core & Levels Installation Problems

Hi all I'm Captain Clark from the 36th Infantry Division,

I used to play PR alot and I ended up uninstalling it due to Armed Assault taking over but I wanna get back into it, but when I go to click on my downloads and hit pr_0809_core or whatever on my transfers it just opens up the installer and closes it, yet it still says it runs it in my processes.
Any help would be sincerely appreciated from anyone.

I have an HP with an NVidia GeForce 8600, with a 2.4GHz Dual Core AMD Processor, and 3 GB of RAM.

EDIT - I also have Windows Vista 32Bit

Try run the installer as administrator.

Hi RedAlert thanks for the speedy reply, I'm running Vista so I just reinstalled and hit Save instead of Run so it will let me Run as Administrator in about an hour, any more suggestions throw them at me!

ya k im having problems to like ive downloaded the client core and levels ... but every time i click on them to open them it will ask me if i wanna run this program ... i do and then nothin happens my computer jus slows down then it says it has failed to open and i dont know what im doing wrong

any help will be appreciated:-

wait on it.

vista takes an age to start the installer if you have UAC turned on.
