Secret to server crashings/CTDs

Ok guys, I found the reason, I believe I have the answer to stop this crap.

Story:

Me and =EQ= pclipse_teh_owner were playing on the CHICAGO USA PR server, doing a bit of recon/sniper support.

Us and one other guy (who was also spotting), SgtAce (he was British), were up in the mountains blasting away at the enemy when one "dal88" had joined our squad, and immediately starting asking us "Do you like this server?"

So we all answered him, and then he asked again "No, do you REALLY like this server?"

And then he proceeds to say "Do you want me to crash it? Really?" and other crap like that indicating he's on a power trip. I'll basically replicate the rest of the conversation here:

Him: "Any last words?"

Me: "Yeah yeah yeah standby"

Him: "So got any last words?" *said so more menacingly/threatening*

SgtAce: "I doubt it, you twat"

Me: "Yeah just saying that if it DOES happen to crash, I now have your username copied down to put all over the PR forums!"

Him: "If you say one fucking word in the chat its going down."

Me: "No, I'm not putting it in the chat. I'm putting it on the PR forums where ALL server admins will be able to see it!"

Him: "You asked for it"

He then left the squad, and we continued gameplay for another minute to a minute and a half. Then we all got CTDs.

So, everyone, can we massively fucking ban this dude from, like, life, pretty much?

This is true. I was a sniper, Chris was right beside me as a Spec Ops guy, spotting out the enemies, and dal88 was behind us as well.

In addition to server crashing capability, those hacks have name changing features too.

Names mean nothing we've known this for a while. You can join with ANYONES name and ANY ID.
They dynamically create names when they join and create a player ID as well.

No, but this guy didn't get a randomly generated name. Pclipse checked him out, he's registered on a cheat/hack website. Its definitely him.

Next time.

Open console.

Type pb_plist I think.

Use page up/down to find his name.

Screenshot or copy the hash.

See, he can't change his GUID...that's the best way to catch him. Server Admins can check out his GUID.
