Default Client Shader error on certain servers...

I've discovered that I can play on certain servers running in Insurg. mode using the Ramiel (sp?) map. Any other game mode or map and i'll get the shader client error. I've done everything to try and fix the situation to no avail.

Just wondering if anyone else is having these successful/crash differences.

I got that problem a lot after installing .8. PB had a field day, sadly.

Have you considered replacing the vanilla shaders with the PR ones? http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-...-solution.html

Check the second quote, telling how to do it. I've done it, since I don't play regular BF2 much, it's not a problem. If I get the odd craving for infantry madness with a team of snipers, I just replace the new PR shaders_client with the old BF2 one.
