Hi guys!
I'm realy desperate right now.. I have been playing PR for ages. I love the game! Never had problems. I've always played it with Hamachi on, Teamspeak on, Norton Internet Security on, everything... Never had problems. But now For couple of weeks ago it started. When I try to connect to a server, it loads, I'm in the game, punkbuster kicks me (handshaking failed) I have tried everything! - auto update PB - manual update PB - deleting PB and reinstall etc When I sometimes get in the game, I got a constantly lag. My keyboard blocks for seconds. (ex. when I am walking with my soldier, i release the keys but the soldier keeps on walking for seconds...) I've got connection problems all over.. I even formatted my pc. Reinstalled XP, latest version of drivers for video, sound etc. And I didn't install a firewall, not even a virus scanner. But the problems keep on coming. Now I am desperate, because I haven't played for weeks. I can't even check 0.8!!!! Sometimes it looks like the connection problems occur when I use my Logitech USB headset. But I am not sure.. Please help me! |

tough one, do you use a router, could it possibly block pb?
if you have multiple ethernet connectors try a different network adapter does it happen for vbf2 too? |

Ok, I've formatted my system again. Installed XP x64, al the latest drivers.. And all the problems are gone!!!
Ik still believe the Logitech headset is the cause, Now it uses other drivers (64 bit) cause before I had a 32bit version of XP installed... (and leaving the second 32 bit to sleep Thanks anyway!! Thread can close |
