Well the title says it all. Punk Buster keeps kicking me out of servers. Most of the time it happens just when i join although it also happened a few times during games. The stupid thing is that i would just rejoin that same server and play for hours and then it might happen again. This has been happening like 2 or 3 times a day for the past 4 or 5 days.
This is what the PB message says when i get kicked....... Quote:

PnkBstrB.exe errors are firewall blocked
Make sure your firewall has permission for: PBSETUP.EXE (search for your location) PNKBSTRA.EXE path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSWOW64\PNKBSTRA.EXE or (not 100% sure but for 32 bit O/S I think it's)C:\WINDOWS\SYSWOW32\PNKBSTRA.EXE PnkBstrB.exe path: "C:\Users\"your user name here"\AppData\Roaming\PnkBstrB.exe" For more check out: Problems with Punkbuster? Those fixes do not fix the problems most people are having.

Sounds right( I got that path from my AVG firewall)
But I don't remember putting it in like I did "PnkBstrB.exe" Here's a link to org. post: Handshake failed - Punk Buster |

i'm not 100% sure, i might have just been lucky but the above has helped i've been on 3 different servers and pnkbstrB didn't fail to handshake for XP users: "C:\Documents and Settings\"Your name"\Application Data\PnkBstrB.exe" now, i looked there originally and couldn't find anything, but ofc! pknbstrB doesn't run all the time, so boot up pbsvc.exe and run a test, during this test whilst pnkbstrB.exe is running quickly make an exception in your firewall for it. this seems to have worked for me and it could be the missing jigsaw piece! good luck guys | |

I have been doing some trial and error tests with this and find that I almost always encounter the problem when I have just started the game (joined no other servers) and I join a large server such as 10th or TacticalGamer which is nearly full. After I join, I am kicked because and continue to get kicked if I try to rejoin the same server. This only stops when I join a different server.
My solution is to initially join an empty server and disconnect, then join the more popular server and it's no longer a problem. Perhaps it's because of the intensity of the number of players that prevents the service from starting. |

Don't forget some servers have 'reserved' slots and you will get the 'boot'.
TG server has 2-4 slots reserved so if you see 61 or 62 on it's full. |

maybe its a network related issue - maybe even a router problem
this might apply for all kinds of brands: http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-...n-players.html (the point is that you should check your routers logs for warnings - especially FLOOD warnings) how many ppl are using your internet connection? room mates downloading torrents does not help! |
