Total BF2 and PR Noob

Hi there guys i am having some issues joining some servers. I can join no probs and then other times the game crashes (something about memory) around 59% this also happens when i try making a local server. Do i need to update maps? If so where can i get them?

Another thing is there a training map for vehicles or even any coop maps?

2gb ram
320mb 8800 gts

Are you using pre-SP1 Vista, or haven't applied vista hotfixes?
That could solve vista/PR memory problems.

Nope using xp, only seems to be on some levels too ??

I havent got the problem but reinstaling pr is always a good solution.

running any backround programs, or something else that is using up your ram (memory)

basically your using up too much RAM, so your PR cant use it, and it needs to use, try closing some programs like msn etc...

Ill do a reinstall first then. I take it i install core .7 then patch to .756?

I have 2GB ram so plenty even with background stuff.

-Install PR 0.7 Core, then 0.7 Levels, then 0.75 patch.

This is the correct answer.

Through trial and error, I discovered I needed all three downloads for PR to work.

well i have 2 gb of RAM and i had the same problem as you, PR uses alot of resources, also try turning ur settings down, you may have them running to high
