PR 0.75 XP doesn't work

Ok, I have just fresh installed pr_0756_core_setup.exe on my windows xp.
Desktop shortcut looks like that:

Code:

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

But when I run it, I get warning screen that i should run pr.exe instead of bf2.exe. But I do so!
When I manually go to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr and run pr.exe I get this:

Code:

bf2.exe does not exist. Please check your working directory!The system cannot find the file specified!

wth? I'm administrator on my computer.

I think it might be problem that EA download manager automatically runs bf2.exe when I run project reality shortcut. Ea download manager is connected with bf2, it always runs when bf2.exe starts. It is needed for game verification.
However, I might be wrong.

Looking for help.

You need to download 3 files total. AS far as I understood you only have one installed.

You need the patch, the core files and the level files, that you find here

Is this your first time installing the PR mod? Has PR worked for you before?
Sounds like PR has been installed in the wrong directory or that BF2 doesn't exist.

Try uninstalling all of BF2, making sure to delete all folders after the auto-uninstall has run. Then reinstall BF2, the BF2 patch, then PR client (core), then PR client (levels). Remember you need both the core and levels to run PR.

Negative!

You only need the "patch" if you already have PR.7 installed. The patch includes updates to the core and levels and is a much smaller file. The core and levels files are only needed if PR doesn't currently exist on your computer.

.75 Patch:
Only use this if you already have PR.7 installed

Core:
Base files for PR .7 and .75 patch

Levels:
Map files for PR.7 and .75 patch

Move pr.exe to

Modify your shortcut to

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\pr.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

And it should work.

And dont offer reinstalling bf2, bullshit, it doesn't help.
I have bf2 installed(with 1.41 already, because its bf2 complete collection downloaded via ea game downloader) and Core(Base files for PR .7 and .75 patch) and levels.

It worked for me. Is your bf2.exe in "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\"?

Change the 'Start in' line to:

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\"

That should help.
