19' monitor resolution

For those of you with a 19' monitor running at 1440x900, what do you force your game resolution to? (if at all). I currently have it as the highest in-game resolution (12xx X 1040) and everything is smushed and chubby. When I set it at 1440x900 there are many graphical errors and everyone is like 7 foot giants. Any ideas?

I'm assuming you're using a 19" widescreen LCD? If so sounds more like a gfx card problem to me. What card do you have?

right click your game shortcut, select properties.

change target to :

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1440 +szy 900

Use that entire string and only change the C if your drive is different (mines G so I changed that string to default for you just in case) keep the apostrophe at the beginning.

BloodBane, yes its LCD and MrD., I tried that already and it made everyone extremely tall and there were lots of graphical glitches. I'm going to try a lower widescreen resolution.

hmm, that's strange. That's what I use for my 1440x900 19" widescreen monitor. Then ingame i switch my graphics settings to the highest possible (phnah phnaw!)

Are you absolutely sure your monitor is what it says it is and you haven't messed with basic ATI catalyst controls?
