Vinilla/PR CTD or just Freezes

I have had this problem for a long time. BF2/PR CTD or just freezes my comp up. I am wondering what my problem is, ive updated my drivers and this problem still happenes.

Specs
Dell Dimension E520
1GB Ram
128 mb Nvidia
Intel Core 2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86 GHz x2

, Also, when does it freeze, when you join a server or when?

It freezes in game. PB and everything is updated, It doesn't say the number so i think it's the 7200 GS 512mb (128 on board) 64 bit card.
