Windows Vista is great, it just isn't quite ready for gaming. I managed to restore my PC to a date prior to installing the hotfix by using Vista System Restore point, so I got rid of the damn update.
"Hotfix" my ass I'm not downloading anymore unofficial released hotfixes, I'll just wait for Windows Updater to do it for me.
