Says lag may be dealt with by clearing the BF2 Shader Cache, but it gives a wrong path for the folder described. The closest folder to that name I can find is C:\Documents and Settings\Kevin\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles This has subfolders for each BF2 user id, named 001 .. 004, etc. And there are no folders like those referred to as Shader Cache folders. I have also looked within C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2 and find nothing like the Shader Cache folders described. Does anyone know what was intended in the Wiki? |

I see my shader files in ...\My Documents\Battlefield 2\cache\{D7B71EE2-1A20-11CF-2D6D-3A21A0C2CB35}_237_
The last folder seems like a randomized unique string or something. The files found there tell me it's the shader stuff. All starting with rashader and ending with .cfx |
