I just downloaded the full client 5.6 file from filefront.com intstalled it and everything, I get a desktop icon which takes me into the game, but then i can only get access to singleplay PR maps. When i search multiplayer servers all I get are normal BF2 servers.
Am I missing out a really obvios step, or is it just not working for me ?

untick "ranked servers" in your server browser. PR is not connected to EA's ranking system, but a fair few servers in PR use ABR ranking system (Alternate Battle Ranking)

also make sure browser is set to : same version
>--------------------------- : same mod
Dont check any of the map size boxes either.

iv downloaded the latest full PR client but cant find any servers when i click multiplayer
iv tried various combinations of internet filters and even tried having a friend give me the ip to a PR server to which i got a "failed to connect"
iv had no such problems with the normal bf2
im running bf2 deluxe edition

can anyone help me out?

You have done the steps in the browser and still you can not find a server ?
Same mod...............checked
Samer version..........checked
ranked servers .........unchecked
Map sizes ........all unchecked.
If that is not working then I have reached my limit of troubleshooting skills.
Post again and someone smarter will find the answer for you.
If it can be done somebody here knows how to do it.
Be patient.
