I am running the Windows 7 Home 64-bit operating system. I have installed vanilla battlefield 2. I run the 1.5 installer, and it starts installing. However, it then detects that my completely untouched, not-yet-run, unpatched BF2 install is a newer version than the patch. I go to regedit to try and manually change the version number, but I can't find the path to the registry files. Help would be greatly appreciated.

The 1.5 is an incremental for 1.41 guys. Just download & install BF2 1.41 first, it'll be fine.
