That is a well done vehicle.

I might be wrong here but it looks very much like the vehicle that the Pakistani's were using in BHD to transport the dead and wounded.

It's true. But, it's the 6x6 wheels version in BHD.

In Astan, our soldiers use the VAB TOP. (More shielded with remote weapon station)

Hi, here are some pics of the optimized VAB : 6941 tris

Don't take care of the texture, these are low graphics screenshots, it's just to see the wireframe.







Edit : and yes there are two open hatchs at the back, it's a normal use in French Army. So we hope to have two soldiers at the back who would be able to fire.

Sorry to have not noticed this question yet.

what do you mean by the passenger door ? The door at the opposite of the pilot one ?

This is the interior of the VAB :


We plan to make this kind of wiew : (It's Sgt Doctor artwork )


Don't look at the texture, the UVs have do be done again a bit. Normally you can see what you call the passenger door, but we want to make a static wiew, the same as the MEC APC(I can't remeber its name...).

BTW, if a [R-DEV] could check the vehicle and correct the few problems which could be removed, it would be nice.
Bao will give us the files as soon as his computer is ready.

PM me if you are interested, we will be able to export it after that.

Easily Done. Just Do it for the Coding Portion of the Vehicle. Just shoot me a PM and I'll Export whenever ready. Be sure to have a wreck model of the VAB. There has to be a wreck model.

you need a wreck model anyway. Basically when you blow up the VAB there should be a wrecked state. As for LODs usually the Exporter can set them up. but I don't know how much you know about LODs. They are basically distance markers. What you see with what graphics card.

Lod0- Closest
Lod1- Farther than lod0
etc.....

The Higher the LOD number the less Tris it will have. It's all about the rendering basically.

OH yes I did know for the LODs .
I only asked if you needed them to export a vehicle. But apparently you know to do them by yourself.

We will make a wreck model.

Waiting for [R-DEV]s OK, maybe our [R-COM] should post this pictures in the private section where maybe it could have more success...
