[Proposal] French Forces Faction - Page 2

THX all, i try to seek anybody in french PR community (or in Europe), and I ve send a message with com kieffer on SOMUA to hire some encoder and modder
see you on PR battlefield soldier

a long time ago there was a mod called Tactical war ( Accés répertoire interdit ) which had a full french army and loads of vehicles / statics as well (I remember they had a cracker aircraft carrier model - the Charles De gaulle) anyways, they pulled the plug for whatever reason and tried to get POE to take thier stuff to add as a faction yonks ago, POE declined the offer. In the end I think they gave all their stuff to some mode called Hostile Progression - [Bienvenue sur Somua, communauté francophone de Battlefield 1942, Vietnam, 2 et 2142 !]

dunno if they ever actually did anything will all the stuff they were given, as i've never heard a thing about them after that,so maybe you could get a hold of that stuff to use? if they never did anything with it?.. hope that helps.. I'd love to see that aircraft carrier in game!! some of their models / statics were incredible.. imo.. shame if it just went to waste

serious, i see no chance for another community mod, if all the other projects are finished, okay perhaps, but at the moment, all powers are better used helping the existing factions than creating new ones

If we work hard and hand to hand, we could present you the alpha french army in 7-8 month, we are working on new battlegrounds, in africa or in south asia. We hope that french army will be able to be in beta test vsion of PR in 10-12 months, so we are new modders, that's why i think our work will be very long.

Now they changed their name from Hostile Progression to Tactical Progression (TP)..........
Anyway Why not ask the developer from Tactical War (TW)?
As everyone knows, most of the model in TP are directly came from TW
except the FR-F2. France solider.....
other model such as VBCI, Rafael ,AT4CS ,or even FA-MAS F1/G2 (but also the non-tweaked MBT in France) are made by TW
I think the developer of TW may agree with the plan in PR
I used to cotact to them by e-mail
They are nice person

Cherrito's if you have not the support of Tactical Progression it shall be difficuly !

you guys should go for it. keep it straight forward and minimal

ask the devs probably hav a mothballed map or two lying around unfinished.

borrow cheat steal where you can and you might find yourself being one of
the first factions in. maybe if the other dev see your progress they might get excited and jump on the bandwagon as well to help get it done really fast.

after all we all want new factions and maps right?
