Default PR lagging when someone is streaming video on the TV

I just "cut the cord" and switched to Sling TV. I have 200/12 Internet and can stream HDTV without problem. However, I'm finding that when someone is streaming video on the TV, PR will lag and skip a few frames every few seconds.

I have a DD-WRT router but am a bit of a novice to advanced networking. Any suggestions on how I could adjust my router to prevent this?

QOS maybe? I am not really an expert on this subject either though.
