Yeah I realised that it wasnt possible to do that to the carrier.
But what I could do, is make it look like bits have fallen off, metal hanging off the side and in the water, scattered all around. |

How about instead of MEC or Insurgents, why not make it China? British forces vs China, U.S. Marines vs China? China would probably be more...plausible...to attacking India. Plus, there's not very many heavy Urban maps for the Chinese Faction, there's Qwai which is somewhat urban, but mostly the maps are farm fields and jungle.

Progress report
![]() Finished the terrain editing, now Ill place all the objects, and then paint. Here are some screens of the map so far... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ^This is where the US main will go^ ![]() It may not look that great in the city area, but I have varied the terrain height for different areas. Im thought this out and have decided to have the US main across the river (see the 4th pic down), and have the carrier almost central in the map. The carrier will be cappable (like outpost in Kongreal Valley), giving the US some sort of transport next to the carrier if they cap, and the same for the insurgents. The US will get probably a transport chopper (and maybe a littlebird), 2 LAVs and maybe a boat or two on the shore. So to recap, the story of the map is that the carrier got bombed, limps over to the closest port, and while there gets attacked by local insurgents. Meanwhile reinforcments come to help take back the carrier and stop the insurgent attacks. Im still not sure if I'll be using US or British, I think that it makes more sense for it to be US with the carrier, but if you think you can persuade me otherwise go ahead. The insurgents BTW will be Iraqi Insurgents. Let me know what you think, post up any suggestions. |

Im still not sure if im going to keep the carrier. Its in the map, but its VERY likely to be taken OUT.
BTW, this is not the part of the docks that has cranes, this is the part that has ships docked to be refueled and such. Ive got some screenies of the recent changes. ![]() The cargo ships ![]() ![]() Gas station ![]() ![]() Attacking teams main Still a lot more work to do though. |
