ok i bring you another WIP showcase:

caves:



greenish hills:



hills with FOB and houses:



Lower valley:



Tac map:



Red arrows: Taliban attackroutes
Blue Rectangles: NF Base and FOB
Blue circle: Belcheragh
Blue polygons: Norwegian squads

the plan is for the NF to hold Belcheragh from the Taliban attack at all cost.
NF will have a Trans heli on the FOB and CV9030s in the mainbase.
i am thinking about maybe to make the rallys so that only squad 1, 2, 3, 4 can spawn on northeast squadlocation and squad 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 can spawn on the SW squadlocation???

if NF lose Belcheragh they will bleed a lot.

The taliban will maybe have Strongpoints around the edges which from where they attack from, so the NF must go out and hunt for them to destroy the spawnpoints and narrow down the attackroutes for the taliban.

The FOB will supply the NF with NATO JDAM support and Spawn a Transportheli...

Definitely has potential.
One thing i dont like about both of your maps Zeno is how you work with the textures.
You do not blend/merge them at all. there is always a sharp cut between your textures (mainly the rock textures). That does not look good to me. you can either blend them better by lowering the brush strength or by overlaying only the detailtexture or colourtexture. By that i mean that eg. lowedetailtexture 2 should be painted on areas without the rock colourtexture but with the colourtexture beside it. that way the textures will blend better. Furthermore you do not have to use a different colourtexture for your rocktexture at all but only paint it by painting detailtexture with lowdet type 2.
i hope you understand what i mean

another possibilty would be using tapint or preferably teragen of course.
