Hangman though he did say ISAF he made it perfectly clear about Norwegians. I like the layout of the map, the little details like the Hesco barricade for FOBs etc, also really like the plot, only thing i miss about the old battlefield series, a little story behind each map.

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

Indeed, you should run terrain lightmaps. It'll make a huge difference.

If you run them on low it won't take long, in fact i can do terrain lightmaps on my 4k map in about an hour on low. Trust me it's worth it.

Yeah, there are some unrealistic features regarding the base.

1. Its too close to buildings on its perimeter. Whoever devised the base wouldn't want the insurgents to bare down on top of the base from a mere 20m away.

2. Trees are very close to the base. Im quite sure they would have built there base away from trees or simply demolished them, to deny the enemy cover.

3. Its too small. If you want the map to be a Mechanised INF one, your gonna actually need space for those vehicles, aswell as the obvious things like living quarters, ammo/supplies, command building/tent, comms tent. Whatever is essential for the operation of a modern military base.


Well, thats what I can see wrong with it.
Thats not to say you've done bad mapping. Many bases in current PR maps share the same faults(in fact, probably most of them do). And if your going to put mounted MGs or TOWs about, make sure they make sense and plays dont get trapped on the weapons and cant exit.
