*ALARM! ACHTUNG!*

My runway senses are tingling. They tell me that pilots taking and taking off of the in-land airfield might have issues with the mountain/hill at the end. It generally helps landing ALLOT when you dont have to dip at the last second.

The carrier is from BF2 Special Forces.

It's unrealistic for a machinegunner to have a 4x zoom without a scope, or a guy carrying an AT-4 to have a SRAW on his back, but it's a PLACEHOLDER

I replaced the F18 with a Harrier, which can take off vertically. Happy nowz?

no I'm not happy since it can't vertically take off with a full load of weapons (in r/l), its a STOLV aircraft (Short Take Off, Vertical Landing)

Bump

I tried out the terrain fix thing, it lowered the FPS by 20 for me, but the map isn't done yet, so that's a subject to change.
However the side effect is that roads don't render, so now I'm wondering, if I should either design the map without roads (and use painted textures for roads, like on Ramiel) or wait and see if there's also a fix for this from the Dev team?

when are you ever happy rhino? lol

is the map going to be bare like kashan? or will you add in some vegitation in areas to break up the blank space?

I'm unsure if the persian gulf has vegitation growing along the waters edge or close by or not but logically you think it would...

anyway looks good, nice to see a move away from insurgency/cqb focus like most maps these days are and the addition of a combined arms map too.
