I have came across A problem for my minimap objects some are showing and otheres aren't, can anyone tell me why this is happening? Good example of this is the big black holes, they should be those green crop things on Al Basrah.

PS. I tryed the renderer > minCULLdistance > 3000 command but that didnt bring all the objects to minimap.

Looks ok, just fix your terrian to the north and west, looks like a big circle. And I cant help out with your problem, but ill ask around.

i think it is a very early wip screen so do not worry about things like the minimap!

just map

so i like the ref pic, but your terrian looks to dark for me (but maybe it is a nightmap?)

and some more info, on what you plan to do with the map would be great (size, gamemode, ?fractions?, lightsettings, and so on)

anyway is it your first map?

you have to create your terrain lightmaps without the static fields, otherwise you get those black spots on the terrain.

its a plateau, and also an oval. Its acceptable.

Anyhow looks intresting. I'd say make the village bigger, and add a bit of foliage, even if the RL counterpart does not feature much. It will only help the map.

Why did you rotate the google map image if it's not to make it the same direction as your map ?

Remove the grass static fields first.

Then youll have to run Rhinos script found in a sticky[how to make a perfect minimap]

Whats wrong is the editor goes from the center, and only renders objects to a certain distance... since the map is big, it stops drawing them, so what you need to do is essentially run a script to break the map into 4 or 16[?] pieces to ensure you get all the objects... that comes later though...

You have to flip your google earth map to get it to face south if I didnt the map would be the other way around.

It's a day map, when I placed the terrain down it was a yellow colour after lighmapped it turned into this brown colour.

It's my first map for PR, I usually mess arround with FH2 mappng but never released any my maps when they were done.

And yes I will update with factions and gamemod's ect...
