the 100 series has a recoil reduction system that improves acuracy and a bunch of minor changes

The AK-101, 102, 103 and 104 are primarily for export

while the 105 is suposed to replace 74 in the armed forces(dont ask me when though)

I thought it would be easy to get the 100 series in since vBF2 has AK-101 for MEC

WallyJas originally planned the PSC to use the AK101. However, during my time as lead we decided it would be a bad move to "revive" another vanilla model, and scrapped the idea. The PSC will be using Ak-47 variants, AK-47's are still in use today. Just because the Russian Army stopped using doesn't mean they all just vanished from earth...

No it isn't. Its an AK-74M rechambered for 7.62x39.

The AK-74M is the full length AK-74 element of the 100 series, as all 100 series weapons are based on it.

No it doesn't.

Well, the 100 series as a whole don't. Only the AK-107 and AK-108 have the balanced automatics system.

also most insurgents use AKMs instead of AK-47s just saying

but can you just remodel the AK-101 a little and fix it up? I would be happy to do that but i just do not have the time

We are not using the AK-101 because they are not widely used by PSCs.

Now, this is no longer up for discussion. If you would like to comment on the models, or bring some evidence that we should be using another weapon to the discussion, that is fine. Simply repeating what has already been said will not help us make our faction better.

rushn -- if you want something in game, make it. I guarantee you it's a whole lot easier to convince people to put stuff in if you're also not telling them to do more work.
