What is the difference between the drummag ak and the normal one.
I mean what kit do you have to choose to get them.

Folding stocks on rifles are built with the intent of making a weapon more compact for stowage, or while entering/exiting vehicles -- exceptions being machine-pistols and SMGs, where the stock facilitates increased concealment.

That being said, there are two conditions where-in you might see someone using a rifle with the stock undeployed -- I'll call these conditions stupidity and desperation. Stupidity -- The user does not know better or thinks that it will improve his lethality (Voodoo.) Desperation, caught with your stock closed, you chose to engage your enemy rather than taking your time to deploy the stock. If you're dealing with an ambush, your best bet would be to get out of the kill-zone, not engage your target with a semi-functional weapon.

Why am I crapping on shooting a rifle with the stock folded? I've done it. A stock makes all the difference in the world for accuracy -- not only is using the sights on successive shots incredibly difficult, doing simple things such as reloading are increasingly cumbersome without the stock to support the weapon while your weak hand is retrieving the magazine and attempting to load the rifle.

I appreciate your efforts to brainstorm for the faction -- keep it up, we need your ideas!

Currently the AK w/ drum is a 'drop-kit' It is simply an AK47 with 75rds.

Yeah that was a question I had, if someone modelled a foregrip that could be attached, could they simply be added as a child object to the model? Forgive me if im being a n00b, but me =/= modelling.

If we did this it would create many more statics and make it alot harder to work.

What happens is that the modeler makes the foregrip and you would select that foregrip and add the texture. pretty easy

Now If I could Only make one.

there would be many many problems with aligning animations if you had a object like that attached to a weapon

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

I'm sure we all had this foregrip discussion before.. its not priority as its impact ingame is negligible at best.

I can't find a picture at the moment but many of the PMC firms in Iraq use SUVs with PKM machine guns mounted in the back. Would this be possible to mod this as well as letting the passengers shoot out of the windows?

I agree, however if we are with a faction starting off, if we have them, it would be very cool, and they are used a lot, so if they have the time to add them, IMO it is very worth it.
