Anyone read Making A Killing? It's about an ex-British Army officer who goes to Iraq as part of a PSC team. Some interesting stories and pics of kit that might be of interest. Especially the short-barreled G3 he carries. Other than that, kit seems to be mostly M4s and AKs with the odd Minimi and RPD thrown in.

thinking about it I dont think they orefer them its about lets say 50-50 half use m16 variants, half use ak variants, but what im trying to say is ak variants would be something new, and it would create an exiting gameplay like no other ( im not saying we should not have other weapons in the mod other then aks, we should have variety too)

From what I hear, a lot of the weapons that PMCs use are bought in country. They do this to avoid all the red tape of bringing weapons into the country. They just land, and buy a weapon when they get there.

Some SF groups do or are even required to grow out their facial hair though, could just put it in as a variation

I think they have way too many AR-15 clones, HK416 long barrel, short barrel, aimpoint, scope, and then M4's on that.
Make it interesting, throw in a Scar-H CQC or something somewhere.
