Default Power Supply Suggestion

I need a good power supply for ~$50, The one I just got (550w Eagle Tech) took a shit about 1 minute into its life. and I'm not gonna waste $10 to RMA it. So I need a psu capable of running a HD 4870 (1GB) and my 5400+ Dual Core. kthxbai

I had to replace one a couple months ago. Got a 550w BFG PSU from Best buy. think i was 65-70$. It has a BIG fan on it. seems to sound quiet enough. I am running a quad core cpu, water cooling system and a 9600GSO vid card off it. so far so good.

Will struggle to get anything decent for that money.

Corsair VX550 Would be good, although the CX400 might be able to cope if you don't mind cutting it fine.

I would love to have a Cosair, but money is tight, what about this? Newegg.com - OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ550FTY 550W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies , I'm not sure how good OCZ is but I imagine it has to be better than my other piece or crap, Also conman I think I recommended you a Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power Plus RS-500-PCAR-A3 500W ATX12V V2.3 Power Supply - Power Supplies which sine I just found that might be my choice.

That Coolermaster look nice. Close to the specs of this one Newegg.com - Thermaltake TR2 W0379RU 500W ATX 12V v2.2 Power Supply - Power Supplies
I'm Planning on getting this Thermaltake. That OCZ looks really good too, sexy also.
