It seems after searching the forum that at least Maniac302 and GS17Spook use or used trackballs. Is there anyone else? What is your experience?
I'm thinking about getting one myself (easier to operate a trackball when sprawling on an armchair or a bed etc.), but opinions I found on using trackballs for playing FPP games vary. Many write it's possible but never as accurate as with a mouse, some say it just takes a few weeks of practice. This video looks promising: YouTube - Quake Live Trackball play My choice at the moment would be the Logitech Trackman Marble (index and middle finger-operated - people generally agree that thumb-operated models are no good for gaming). |

He tried FPS gaming for almost a year with that POS. As soon as he switched his targeting acquisition times went down. | |
