My Rig/Need Video Settings Advice
Finally replaced three-year old rig. Didn't get a 275 or 295 due to impending 300 release and may toy with 260's in SLI. Also not overclocking the i7 yet. Current bottleneck is HD but I plan to get a smaller quicker one shortly.
Antec 300 Antec Trio 650W Gigabyte EX58-UD3R i7 920 2.66GHz 3x2GB Kingston DDR3 1600MHz EVGA GTX 260 Core 216SC 896MB WD 1TB 7200 LG 22X DVDRW Logitech G5 Logitech Attack 3 Windows 7 Ultimate Obviously I can run PR with everything on max (8X AA) and the in-game FPS renderer is stuck at 99 FPS, but what do others recommend for video settings to be able to see better on maps like Bi Ming, Fools Road, Korengal Valley etc. with lots of vegetation. I realize I can diddle around until I find something I like, but I'm also curious what others' settings are (and why you can apparently see me but I can't see you!). Thanks |
